About This Service

Waterproof Labels in Windhoek, Namibia

TF Impact Studio prints waterproof labels in Windhoek for products that live in fridges, freezers, bathrooms, kitchens and outdoors. A paper label that looks good on the shelf can wrinkle in a cooler box, smudge when a sauce bottle is wiped or peel off a shampoo bottle in the shower. Our waterproof labels are printed on synthetic and vinyl stocks and laminated so they stay stuck, stay legible and keep their colour for the life of the product.

We offer several waterproof options. White vinyl is the workhorse for bottles, jars and tubs and takes full-colour print well. Clear vinyl gives a printed-on-glass look for gin, olive oil and cosmetics. Synthetic polypropylene and polyester stocks are tougher still and suit chemicals, cleaning products, agricultural inputs and anything handled roughly. A gloss or matte laminate over the print seals the ink against oil, water and abrasion, and adds resistance to fading on a sunny shelf.

Adhesive matters as much as the face stock. Cold and damp surfaces, oily plastics and squeezable containers each need a suitable adhesive, so tell us where the product will be stored and what the container is made of. Applying labels to a clean, dry container at room temperature makes a big difference too. We can supply sample labels to test on your real containers in your real conditions before you commit to a run.

Like all our labels, waterproof labels are printed digitally and contour cut in-house, so any shape is possible and small runs are practical for product trials and weekend craft markets. Rolls and sheets are both available, and most orders are ready within 2-5 business days for collection in Windhoek or courier across Namibia. Reorders are printed from the same file and stock so later batches match the first one exactly.

What You Get

Waterproof Labels Highlights

01

Synthetic and vinyl stocks

White vinyl, clear vinyl, polypropylene and polyester face stocks that do not absorb moisture, tear or wrinkle when wet, unlike paper labels that fail in the fridge.

02

Protective lamination

A laminate over the print protects colours from oil, water, condensation and scuffing, and adds UV resistance for products stored in sunlight or displayed in a window.

03

Adhesives for the surface

Permanent adhesives suited to glass, PET, HDPE and cold or damp surfaces, so labels stay put on fridge items, squeezable bottles and containers that get wiped down.

04

Sample labels to test

We can print a few labels for you to stick on your actual containers and leave in the fridge, shower or shed before ordering the full run.

05

Any shape, any run size

Contour cut to any outline on our in-house equipment, supplied on rolls or sheets, with no large minimum quantity and consistent reprints from the same file.

How waterproof labels works with us

From your first WhatsApp message to the finished product, here is what to expect.

  1. 1

    Tell us the conditions

Describe the container material and where the product will be stored, used and sold. This determines the stock, laminate and adhesive we recommend for a label that lasts.

  2. 2

    Artwork and proof

Send your artwork or have our designers create it. We send a proof and, if you want, a printed sample on the chosen stock to test on your container.

  3. 3

    Print, laminate, cut

Labels are printed in full colour, laminated for protection and contour cut on our in-house equipment, then wound on rolls to your specification or laid on sheets.

  4. 4

    Delivery

Collect in Windhoek or receive by courier anywhere in Namibia. Most waterproof label orders are ready within 2-5 business days of approval of the proof.

Common Questions

Waterproof Labels FAQs

The face stocks we use are synthetic and do not absorb water, and lamination seals the printed surface. Labels survive fridges, freezers, showers and being wiped down. Prolonged submersion or harsh solvents can still challenge any adhesive, so for extreme conditions we suggest testing a sample first.
