Mock-Ups & Prototypes in Windhoek

TF Impact Studio produces printed packaging mock-ups and label prototypes in Windhoek so producers across Namibia can see and hold their packaging before committing to a full run. A design that looks right on a screen can behave differently on a curved jar, under fridge light or next to competitors on a shelf. A physical mock-up answers the questions a PDF cannot, and it costs a fraction of reprinting a production run.

For labels, we print a handful of samples on the intended stock, with the intended laminate, and apply them to your actual containers. You can check the fit, the colour against the product, the legibility of the ingredient panel and how the label handles condensation or oil. For boxes, sleeves and bands we print, cut, crease and fold a working sample so you can put the product inside and see it as a customer will.

Mock-ups are also useful before the design is final. Retailers, investors and business partners respond better to a real sample than to a rendering, and photographing a mock-up on a shelf or in a kitchen gives you marketing images before production. Many of our clients use a prototype to test a new product at a craft market or with a few stockists before ordering larger quantities, and the feedback often improves the final design.

Because our design and print-and-cut equipment are under one roof, we can turn a mock-up around quickly, adjust the artwork and print another. Most mock-up requests are ready within 2-5 business days, and once approved the same files go straight into the production run, so there is no risk of the final labels or boxes differing from the sample you signed off.
