TF Impact Studio supplies lightweight X-frame banners in Windhoek for teams who have to carry their own displays. A complete X-frame, including the fibreglass frame, the printed graphic and the carry bag, weighs about as much as a bottle of water. Sales reps, pastors, teachers and event staff can pick up three or four in one hand and still have a hand free for the car keys.
The frame is the secret. Made from thin fibreglass rods or aluminium tubes joined at a central hub, it folds down to roughly the length of an umbrella and slides into a slim bag with the rolled print. There is no heavy aluminium cassette and no separate pole to lose. It fits in the boot of a small car, in overhead luggage on a flight to Ondangwa, or in the footwell of a bakkie heading out to a farm show.
Light does not mean flimsy. Once the four eyelets are hooked onto the arms, the frame tensions the blockout PVC print into a flat, upright panel that stands steadily on its own indoors. The 600 x 1600mm size is the lightest option, and the 800 x 1800mm version is only slightly heavier because the print is the main difference.

Lightweight FAQs
A standard 600 x 1600mm X-frame with a fibreglass frame, blockout PVC print and bag weighs well under a kilogram. The 800 x 1800mm size is a little heavier because of the larger print. Either way it is far lighter than a pull-up banner with an aluminium cassette base.
