The edge can be a gallery wrap, where the photograph continues around the sides, a mirror wrap, which reflects the edge of the image so nothing important is lost, or a plain white or black border. We will recommend the right option for each photograph.
Resolution matters more than anything else. A modern phone photograph usually prints well up to around A1, while a camera image of 12 megapixels or more can go to A0 and beyond. We check every file before printing and tell you honestly how large it can go, adjust exposure and colour where needed and send a proof so you can see the crop. Finished canvases are collected from our studio in Windhoek or couriered anywhere in Namibia, wrapped in bubble film with corner protectors, and most orders are ready within 2-5 business days.

Approve the proof
We send a digital proof showing the crop and the edge treatment. This is the moment to swap a photograph, adjust the crop or change the size before anything is printed.

Print, stretch and finish
The canvas is printed with pigment inks, left to cure, then hand-stretched over the wooden frame and fitted with hangers. Most single canvases are ready within 2-5 business days.

As a rule of thumb, a good phone photograph prints well up to A1, and a camera image of 12 megapixels or more is fine at A0. Canvas texture is forgiving of slight softness, so images that would look grainy on photo paper often still work. Send the original file and we will tell you the largest size we are comfortable printing.
